How You Can Help
Our Theme Verse
WINTER 2025
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
One of our goals at Finding Freedom Ranch is to promote the truth of the gospel as stated in the Bible. As Christians, we often get pulled in the wrong direction by listening to lies that ruminate in our minds—lies about our identity, worth, and place in the world. These whispers can take root in our souls, undermining the fundamental truth that “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.” This simple childhood song stands firm in gospel truth.
In John 8, Jesus tells a group of Jewish people that although they claim to be descendants of Abraham and therefore free, their actions show they are actually slaves to sin.
The only way to true freedom is to believe in and follow Jesus' teachings. By accepting His teachings as truth, they can be liberated from the bondage of sin. Jesus emphasizes that true freedom can only be achieved through Him.

As we enter a new year, it is our prayer that we all remember the profound truth that we have a Savior who has always loved us
just as we are. Join us in making this verse your theme for 2025. Walk with us in freedom as we choose truth. Let us unite in the promise that we are who God says we are—His dear children!

Yes, Jesus loves me, the
Bible tells me so!
Blessings in this new year,
Lynda Hop

Construction Update
Land Development December 23, 2024
“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it
labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1
Our building and land have continued to progress, with a lot happening in November. Brian Helder and his crew worked diligently to prepare the site for seeding. They seeded the back half with pasture grass and the front half with grass seed, both generously donated by Moline Co-op and Rhino Seed. Kwantes and Choice Landscape also contributed by landscaping around The Lodge and planting numerous trees on the property. Consumers Electric trenched power into the building, while NuWool Insulation completed the insulation of the exterior walls.
Oosterhouse Masonry finished the stonework on the fireplace and front wall. In December, Hulst Heating and Cooling installed the furnace and connected the ductwork, so we now have heat. Sobie Co then installed the drywall. Buist installed the rough in for audio visual, IT, and physical security.
We are now focused on finishing the drywall and painting, preparing for the installation of cabinets and trim. We are on track to open in the spring. We feel incredibly blessed by the
generosity of so many contractors who have helped bring Finding Freedom Ranch closer to becoming a reality.
“All glory be to Christ our King.”
